ڹϳ Establishes 'We Win Together Award'

September 9, 2022, Alexandria, LA – ڹϳ and the Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce honored local businesses on Friday, September 9, 2022, at the 10th Annual Chamber of Commerce Business Awards Gala. The red-carpet event celebrates business excellence throughout central Louisiana.

To commemorate the decade-long award program, ڹϳ was the presenting sponsor for the event, permanently establishing the ڹϳ We Win Together Award. This award recognizes a person, or organization who collaborated, sought continuous improvement, and made an impact on our business community.

“ڹϳ appreciates the opportunity to establish anew award to recognize stellar achievements to benefit the central Louisiana business community through vital partnerships,” said Kenny Robison, President& CEO, ڹϳ.

At ڹϳ, we believe in continuous improvement. It’s part of our core values, to embrace bold, new ideas and get better at what we do. One of the values that truly speaks volumes about our Culture at ڹϳ is: We Win Together.

The word ‘win’ indicates there’s a competition. ڹϳ companies could not revolutionize the electric power delivery industry if we were not competitive. We go up against our competitors. We compete against our peers. We compete against ourselves. Competition stimulates and inspires continuous improvement. Competition makes us better and so does collaboration.

It takes collaboration to engineer, design, and assemble a giant substation and safely and efficiently ship it across the country. Collaboration makes success happen and success is never ours alone. It’s mutual. Collaboration is key to creating prosperity.

After seeking feedback from companies like ڹϳ, Cleco, RoyOMartin, and local accounting firms, the winner of the newly established We Win Together Award, rose to the challenge and specifically tailored its program to better prepare Louisiana’s workforce and support business and economic growth here in central Louisiana and beyond.

“We are pleased and honored to present the first ڹϳ We Win Together Award to LSUA College of Business,” said Robison.
