Building on Year 7's start to high school
In order to help Year 7 build upon their impressive start to high school, students took part in their Community Day on Wednesday 23 March.
Year 7 Community Day gave students the opportunity to participate in House-based activities focused on team work, collaboration, and leadership. They also had the chance to interact with their House group, helping them to extend their friendship groups and to strengthen the relationships they had already formed with members of their Pastoral Care classes.
As part of the day, students watched a performance about Mary ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏ꿉۪s life and they also took part in a leadership workshop with the Assistant Principal Pastoral Care, Mr Paul Durham. Mr Durham encouraged Year 7 students to consider running for the Student Representative Council, with the election process set to commence this term.
The College congratulates Year 7 for their enthusiastic participation in the Community Day. The leadership and collaboration on display reflected the positive attitude Year 7 have brought to their transition to high school!
