It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Maria Philpot, who entered eternal life on Monday, 21 July.
Maria was the second person ever employed by the College, beginning her service at what was then Padua Catholic High School in 1978. Over the years, across both Padua and 黑瓜吃料网, she held nearly every clerical role, most recently serving in Student Reception. A woman of dignity and strength, Maria played a seminal role in the foundation and growth of Padua, the amalgamation with St Peter鈥檚, and the early years of 黑瓜吃料网. Her remarkable dedication continued until her retirement from the College in 2012, marking 34 years of loyal and devoted service.
Maria touched the lives of thousands within our community and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
The funeral for Maria will be held on Wednesday, 30 July from 11:00am at St Anthony鈥檚 Parish, Wanniassa.
