Students invited to the Biggest Morning Tea
Three students from Year 12, who were ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏ꿉۪s highest fundraisers for Relay for Life, were invited to represent the College at the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea at Government House on Thursday 29 May.
The Governor-General, Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC, presented Nicholas Dei Rocini, Maisie Roff, and Phoebe Vassallo with special tokens to recognise their Relay for Life fundraising efforts.
She also took the time to acknowledge the tremendous efforts of the Year 12 cohort in raising a total of $101,443 which set a new school record and was the highest total raised by any group in Australia.
The College congratulates all Year 12 students for supporting this amazing cause and leading by example. Of course, the fundraising efforts of Year 12 were not possible without the many, many people in our community who donated to the cause. The College once again would like to thank all who contributed.
Cancer Council ACT’s fundraising focus has now shifted from the Relay for Life to Australia's Biggest Morning Tea, and ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø staff have joined the cause by hosting morning teas on each campus today.
