Spring Zing 2024

Year 10 students dress to impress

The annual Spring Zing gave ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏ꿉۪s Year 10 students the opportunity to dress up and party to celebrate the upcoming achievement of their Year 10 Certificate.

Held at the Woden Southern Cross Club on Friday 20 September, the Spring Zing had a theme of ‘Live your dreams’, which gave students the freedom to wear a wide range of fancy-dress costumes. Some of the costumes included Barbie and Ken, surf lifesavers, pirates, princesses, football players, and much more!

Laura Del Bianco of Year 10 compiled the following report:

Last Friday, Year 10 celebrated their thoroughly anticipated Spring Zing. The night was a massive success with tremendous amounts of singing and dancing from everyone.

The event included a DJ, photo booth, red carpet, dinner, and candy bar along with a large dance floor that was very well used throughout the night!

The theme for this year's Spring Zing was ‘Live your dreams’, and the creativity of the cohort spoke volumes in the costuming and design, with awards being announced for best group, best individual, and best pair. The night was definitely one to remember for all students and teachers and was well deserved after a term of hard work and focus.

Congratulations to the students for the energy they brought to the occasion, and thanks to the Year 10 Coordinators, Ms Leonie Sullivan and Mr Charles Bootes, for their organisation of the event. It sure was a night to remember!
