Year 12 reaches new milestone
Congratulations to the Class of 2025 who managed to raise over $100,000 in the Relay for Life.
The students of Year 12 had originally set a goal of $80,000, but soon turned their sights on reaching the 100K mark after hitting their target prior to their 'Relay Your Way' event on Saturday 29 March.
With just a few thousand left to raise, several Year 12 students attended the Canberra Relay for Life event at the AIS on 5 April to seek additional donations in the hope of hitting their new goal. A few donations on Saturaday afternoon managed to push the total over $100,000.
With that total, ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø currently sits at the top of the fundraising charts for the whole of Australia.
Among the personal highlights were the efforts of Year 12 Students Nicholas Dei Rocini and Maisie Roff, who both raised over $2500 and currently sit in the top three individual fundraisers in Canberra.
The College would like to thank everyone who made this achievement possible, including those who donated, the staff at Cancer Council ACT, teachers who supervised, and, of course, the students of Year 12.
The total now sits at $101,979.
Donations are still being accepted:
