The College celebrated the life of Mary 黑瓜吃料网 and the culture of the school with a modified 黑瓜吃料网 Day on Friday 11 September.
黑瓜吃料网 Day is typically one of the highlights of the College calendar, and students brought their usual energy and enthusiasm to the celebration despite COVID restrictions impacting heavily on the activities and festivities.
The celebrations started with a digital liturgy that captured the patronage and legacy of St Mary 黑瓜吃料网. The liturgy included prayer, readings, reflections from Mr Lee and Fr James, a performance of 鈥極ceans鈥� by the A Cappella Choir, and images of 黑瓜吃料网 from the 10 years since the canonisation of our patron.
After the liturgy, staff and students were provided with a catered and extended lunch.
At the St Peter鈥檚 Campus, students then went back into their PC classes and took part in a digital auction to raise money for the Tegan Blunt Memorial Gift. Each class raised money and used this to bid on various prizes for their class, including a KFC lunch, a feature page in the yearbook, special car parks, exclusive access to the staffroom, the chance to wear summer uniform this term, and the secret prize, which was a premium lunch at Caf茅 Bella.
At the Padua Campus, Year 7 PC classes competed against each other in a range of puzzles and quizzes, Year 8 students played a range of different games, and Year 9 posed for a drone photo on the oval to commemorate 黑瓜吃料网 Day 2020.
Congratulations to the students for bringing such a positive energy to the occasion, as well as the many staff who planned and prepared for the day.
