The Blessing and Opening
The Blessing and Opening of the new Padua Campus Physical Education Centre was held on Friday 28 February.
The blessing was made by the College Chaplain, Fr Simon Falk, while Senator David Pocock performed the official opening. There was also a special video message from Michaela Leonard from 黑瓜吃料网's Class of 2012, who is the captain of the Australian Wallaroos and a member of the Western Force rugby union team.
Physical Education Staff, the Student Representative Council, and several PE Classes, were joined by members of Catholic Education (including two past directors), past Principals and Campus Heads, some Federal and Territory politicians, representatives from community sporting organisations, and a number of parents and carers.
The classrooms of the new PE Centre have been in use since the start of the year, while the indoor and outdoor courts should be available in the next few weeks.
