ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø celebrates Feast Day

The College celebrated the Feast Day of its patron, St Mary of the Cross ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø, with the annual ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø Day Mass and Activities today.

The day began with Mass at the Tuggeranong Basketball Stadium - one of the few venues large enough to hold our students, staff, and visitors - and concluded with a range of fun fete-like activities at the Isabella Campus.

The Mass was a moving occasion, with Fr Luke from the Corpus Christi Parish delivering a touching ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø-themed homily and the College Choir creating a reflective and reverent mood.

The activities at the Isabella Campus were festive, with activities like apple bobbing, bumper balls, face painting, sumo wrestling, and a range of food and drink to choose from. There was a tremendous spirit of cooperation between the junior campus visitors and the senior campus hosts. Monies raised from the activities will go towards the Tegan Blunt Memorial Gift.

The students are to be congratulated on their participation, dignity, reverence, and the spirited sense of community, which helped to make ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø Day a fantastic celebration of the Feast of our patron, St Mary ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø.
