ºÚ¹Ï³ÔÁÏÍø is excited to announce its 2022 College and Portfolio Captains following an election on 15 September.
Congratulations to the successful candidates:
- College Captains: Madison Arnold & Rohan McDonough
- Faith & Community: Neika Henson
- Performing Arts: Maddison Cameron & Vuni-John Kamilo
- Sport: Ebony Brunt
- Sustainability: Emily Rasheed
- Communications & Connections: Josh Haynes
The standard of candidates was extremely high, with a total of 26 students putting themselves forward for the seven positions on offer. These students went through the process of a written application and interview with the College Executive before they delivered speeches to their peers and teachers via a Canvas Conference in Week 10 of Term 3.
The results in each category were extremely close, with several positions going down to final preferences before a winner could be decided.
For the first time in College history, two applicants nominated for a position as a pair. In 2022, Maddison Cameron and Vuni-John Kamilo will be the first duo to hold a Portfolio role together after they won the election for Performing Arts Captain.
Congratulations to all candidates, particularly the eight students who were successful in gaining a leadership role. The College will be in safe and capable hands in 2022!
